It was born from an unexpected meeting between a glass of French wine, created by Marcello Crini, and a Tuscan dish, created by Alessio Sedran. A shared passion that has turned into a dream: to open a food and wine shop in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, a place where the verbs to eat and to drink are combined with the adverb good, where you can find the culinary traditions of the area and start a food and wine experience to discover the taste.
Wine, oil and food are the main protagonists of Magazzino del Gusto: from the wine tastings with the best Italian and French wines, to more than 40 different extra virgin olive oils, cured meats and cheeses selected by small producers and local dairies, passing to the direct sale of shelf products to the express dishes in the gastronomia.
The local products tasted in the shop can also be purchased, to continue the food and wine experience at home. This is our most genuine mission.
Wine for us is music for the taste buds, an enjoyable flavor that is worth sipping, a pleasing moment to share.
It will be Music that will guide you to discover our fine wines’ cellar, both Italian and French, and we in our behalf will narrate the story of the bottles we have selected with passion.
How? At the table, while looking through the reflections of a large glass of wine, or even recommending the best one for a special occasion or a tasting at home.

Through our Tuscan dishes we want to tell and rediscover the flavors of the region: every day our chef prepares all the recipes using only the best Tuscan products selected for sale in our shop, seasonal ingredients, the vegetables grown directly in our bioactive vegetable garden, taken care by Andrea Battiata, agronomist, urban farmer and founder of the Ortobioattivo method.
Tuscan products will not be the only protagonists, there will be something for every taste: with the shopping basket in hand, enter our cell to discover our selection of meats and cheeses, including hams and salami of Grigio del Casentino and Cinta Senese, Tuscan Pecorino made with vegetable rennet, the Parmigiano Reggiano from high mountain areas, aged 24 months but non the less seems almost butter. taste, to believe!
